Our Philosophy

Children are a wonderful and vital part of the church. The church has the responsibility to equip and support parents in discipling their children.

Sunday School

All the children’s classes follow a unified, age-appropriate curriculum that is aimed at training our children in the whole of God’s Word. A typical class will include a time of singing, a teaching/story from the Scriptures, and an activity based on the lesson. There are multiple classes divided by age and grade.

Covenant Kids

Children from age 4 to fifth grade meet on the third floor during the Sunday evening prayer meetings at 6:00 pm.

Covenant Kids is an interactive time when our associate pastor teaches children what it means to be a part of God’s church. It includes a time of singing, prayer, and brief instruction.

After meeting as a large group, children divide by age and work on memorizing age-appropriate catechisms together, with the help of adult volunteers.

Safety
We take the safety of our children very seriously. To see some of our policies regarding volunteers, see Holy Trinity Volunteer Safety Protocol.

After School Arts Program

During the school year, we offer a program on Tuesday afternoons for children K-5th grade in which we teach the arts (and other facets of God’s world!) from a biblical perspective. We begin with a chapel service at 3:30 pm led by our pastor and pastoral interns which is a wonderful time of singing hymns together and hearing the preaching of the Word. In our art and music classes this year, we will continue our studies on traditional art and music from  Japan, USA, Mexico, and Egypt! At the end of the semester we will hold a showcase event for the students to sing, present on what they learned, and display their artwork for family and friends.

Tuition for the class is $80 per semester with a maximum cost of $160 per family. Scholarships are available upon request.

The Fall semester begins September 12th. Register here.

We would love for you to join us! Contact Sarah Fisher with questions.
